Lizard Creature Bust named Terry

This is my paintover of a Zbrush model provided to the students by CG Spectrum. This lizard creature was inspired by the Galápagos marine iguana. A very cool creature. I imagine they are an enemy a player would encounter in the jungle of some fantasy world. They could be a tribal group of creatures that don't like outsiders. There could be some curse that gave them exposed teeth and through communication with some of the more friendly of their race you are given a quest to cure them.

Terry in all his glory. I chose a red skin tone with a greenish yellow back, dark blue around the eyes and nose. The beak is a sea turtle beak, the skin is a combination of turtle skin and elephant skin, the spikes are from a blue turtle shell.

The value painting. I added a beak, defined the teeth and created horns around the eye, ear canal and top of their head.
